1st August Celebration at the Landsgemeindeplatz

Come and enjoy Swiss National Day on the Landsgemeindeplatz in Zug! The exciting programme starts already in the morning when Zug opens the doors of all its museums, towers and other historic buildings free of charge to the public. This year the  program also includes everything from traditional sounds to Swiss-German pop music. 

The musical highlight of the day is James Gruntz, the winner of two Swiss Music Awards who is currently the most popular artist in the Swiss music scene. The sympathetic singer/songwriter from Bern will captivate people in Zug with his character voice, as he presents his new album „Waves“.


Numerous culinary specialities and a super party on the banks of Lake Zug round off the evening
