18-year-old drug dealer arrested

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man after he was found with over CHF 1,000 in cash on him and a small amount of marihuana.

The arrest took place on the evening of Wednesday 26 September as police in plain clothes checked the young man on Meierskappelerstrasse in the municipality.

When questioned, the Swiss national admitted he had bought 500 grammes of the drug a few weeks previously, keeping 20 grammes for his own use but selling 300 grammes on to others. In addition to the small amount he had on him at the time of the arrest, police found a further 180 grammes after searching through his home.

The 18-year-old can now expect to face charges for his offences.
