Young woman loses control over her car

A young woman lost control over the sports car she was driving between Arth and Zug on Tuesday morning.
 
The incident happened at around 9.30 am on the Artherstrasse lake-side road. Possibly as a result of the wet road surface, the young woman drove head-on into a stone wall by the side of the road, writing off the car as she did so. Fortunately, no other vehicle was involved.
 
The driver was taken to hospital for a check-up but no details were given about any injuries.
 
For some time after the incident traffic was only able to pass by in one direction at a time.
