Truck cabin destroyed by fire

The cabin of a delivery truck was totally destroyed by fire on Wednesday. Fortunately no-one was injured. The incident happened shortly after 9.50 on Wednesday morning as the lorry was parked at a building site on Lettenstrasse in Rotkreuz. According to the cantonal police, the 15-man Risch fire brigade was soon on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire.
 
The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained, but it is presumed that it had something to do with the building work. The forensic section of the cantonal police is currently investigating the matter.The cabin of the lorry was completely destroyed in the fire and damage of CHF 15,000 is estimated.
