Time for the finishing touches

The temperatures and the weather are still quite wintery, but  there will definitively be a spring feeling on the Stierenmarktareal in the next few days. Starting tomorrow, Thursday, the WOHGA exhibition will open in Zug. The Fair for Living, Home and Garden takes place for the 13th time this year, and lasts until Sunday. Around 150 regional and national exhibitors will be presenting their products and services, including the latest home trends for both indoors and the garden.

There will also be “special shows” once again. 17 Zug companies have joined forces under the title Renovations, and will present their products and services to the public. The special show was included for the first time last year, and will be slightly expanded and modified for this year's show. Companies from all sectors are represented, from the kitchen and window manufacturers, through carpenters, painters and electricians, to gardeners and fireplace construction, mosquito nets and photovoltaic specialists.

Those who are interested in bathrooms that can be inspired by the special exhibition Bath Worlds, in which various specialist plumbing companies show what they can do with wet cells. And visitors can also stroll through the gardens of the professional horticultural show.

In addition to the exhibitors, there are also on-site catering stands. The fair restaurant has been redesigned and offers seasonal dishes, and a garden café can also be visited. There is a free crèche for younger guests. There, Clown Mugg will entertain the girls and boys. "It's really like a circus. The kids can ride bicycles, walk on stilts or practice juggling, "explains Susan Galliker.

Both the exhibitors and the exhibition management still have some work to do before the opening, and good progress has been made in the past few days. "The dry weather has helped yesterday," says Galliker.

The exhibition management recommends that visitors should make use of public transport, as only a limited number of parking spaces are available.
