Three occupants of car escape injury

The three occupants of a car, a 32-year-old woman and two 4-year-old children, were lucky to escape injury after the car in which they were travelling hit a stone and turned over in Unterägeri yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened shortly before 1 pm as the driver intended to turn right to head towards Zug on Zugerstrase. As she did so, she left the carriage way and hit a stone which caused the vehicle to turn over, coming to a standstill on its side.

As to the precise circumstances of the incident, this is still subject to investigation. The occupants of the car, a 32-year-old woman and two four-year-old children, as mentioned, were taken to hospital for a check-up but escaped serious injury.

The fire brigade of the municipality of Unterägeri and emergency services of the city of Zug, including the Zug Police, attended the scene, in addition to a private vehicle recovery service.

As a result of the incident, an alternating one-way traffic flow system had to be brought into operation for some time until the vehicle was removed.
