Thai prostitute deported as German one is fined

Over the past few days police have been looking for those who may have been working illegally in a number of erotic establishments and massage parlours in the canton. Indeed, this led them to finding two prostitutes, one a Thai national, the other a German.
 
It was in Baar that officers came across the 45-year-old Thai lady, who was found to have been living and working in Switzerland illegally. She was duly taken to appear before a judge in fast-track proceedings where she was given a conditional fine and ordered to leave the country. Furthermore, she has been banned from returning to Switzerland and Liechtenstein and any other Schengen state within three years. In fact, as the police confirmed, she was deported to Thailand last Monday.

In the case of the German national, the 20-year-old was found to have been offering erotic services from a private room in Hünenberg. She had no work permit, either. In this case, she was fined several hundreds of francs and ordered to refrain from practising her activities forthwith.
