Public welcome at "SF bi de Lüt" rehearsals
In connection with the live broadcast of "SF bi de Lüt" on Sunday live from Zug's Landsgemeindeplatz, Regula Kaiser, president of the organising committee, has said that the general public are also very welcome at the rehearsals to the programme.
As well as the city making CHF 100,000 available, SF DRS will be bringing 100 tonnes of material and investing a lot in the programme itself. Work will start setting up all the equipment on Thursday with a main rehearsal, mainly for presentational and music purposes, on Saturday at 1.15 pm.
Then at 8 pm on Saturday there is the main rehearsal which is important as the light conditions are expected to be the same for when the programme goes out live at the same time the next day.
On Sunday there will be another rehearsal for the musicians at 1 pm with a second main dress rehearsal at 3.45 pm with everyone in their costumes. "Spectators are very welcome here, too," said Kaiser "and it might be a good time for them to reserve their seats for the actual programme."
Then at 8.05 pm prompt on Sunday evening the director will shout "Lights, camera, action!" as the live programme starts. "We will ensure the occasion is an unforgettable one," said Kaiser.
