Paraglider seriously injured

A 33-year-old paraglider was seriously injured after he crash-landed in the canton on Saturday evening.

The incident happened shortly before 6.45 pm near the Baar Lindenpark S-Bahn railway halt as the pilot was preparing to land on a nearby meadow. Unfortunately, an air hole led the pilot to crash to the ground.

The emergency services were summoned with the pilot subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
