New branch of Data Quest to open

The Data Quest AG company has announced that its new branch on Bundesplatz is to open on Saturday 25  November. It is from these new larger premises that the company will be able to offer a wider range of products and improve its level of service even more.

Locals will know that, for the past 11 years, the business has operated from number 11 Baarerstrasse, but its tenancy there was coming to an end and it was decided not to renew it.

Katharine Bornhauser, the spokeswoman for the Privera AG company, which owns the premises on Bundesplatz, said she was very pleased a company such as Data Quest was moving there, hoped they would feel happy there and looked to a long-term arrangement with them.

For his part, Angelo Müller of the Data Quest board of management said that the move would be quite a challenge, but one which he relished. “At 190 square metres the premises on Bundesplatz are significantly larger than on Baarerstrasse,” he said. “Hence we have more space, of course, in which to show a large range of Apple products and related accessories, especially in the digital, home, sport and fun sectors.” Furthermore, he pointed out that, as a result of increased demand, there would be a repair, service and support department on the lower ground floor, customer service considered of great importance at the company. “Regardless of where the customer bought his Apple product, he can find the support and service he needs, not least from our Apple-certified staff.”

Data Quest was actually founded by two enthusiastic Swiss Apple fans in 1991; now there over 20 such shops across the country.

It is from these stores that Apple’s latest innovation, the iPhone X, the most expensive smartphone ever and for which there is enormous demand, can be ordered.

Müller further promised that, when the shop opens later this month, customers could expect to encounter a range of exciting activities and special offers.
