Local beer praised for its high quality

The Baar Brewery has been presented with an award for the high quality of its beer. At the end of next week drinkers will have the opportunity to judge for themselves, and on the house.
 
The award was presented to the brewery in Bern by an organisation promoting the production of locally brewed beers.
 
To celebrate this, the brewery will be giving out free beer at its premises at number 41 Langgasse (second photograph) on Friday 8 August between 4 pm and 6 pm.
 
Musical entertainment on the occasion will be provided by the Hopfemandli Trio.
