Gysi AG metal construction company sold

The Gysi AG metal construction company, a family-run business, announced yesterday that it had been sold to two former members of its management team, Hermann Wenger and Walter Erni.

The company, which employs a staff of around 60 at its premises on Zugerstrasse in Baar, makes vehicle restraint systems as well as processing sheet metal.
 
Wenger enjoys a good reputation for innovative products in the vehicle restraint system area, with Erni set to re-structure the sheet metal processing department to make it more viable in the future.

The acquisition of the company by its new proprietors has been backdated to 1 January of this year.
