Four-year-old girl lucky to escape with broken leg only

A four-year-old girl was lucky to escape with a broken leg only after she ended up under a bus on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened shortly before 3.45 pm as the girl ran from a stationary bus of the ZVB company towards one she failed to notice approaching.

While the girl was hit by the bus and ended up underneath it, fortunately she was not run over by it.

As mentioned, she suffered only from a broken leg for which she was duly treated in hospital.
