Four people injured as car hits tree

Four of five occupants of a car were injured as it hit a tree near the Ebertswiler roundabout on Sunday afternoon.
 
The incident happened shortly after 7 pm as the vehicle was on the Sihlbrugg road heading in the direction of the motorway.
 
One occupant of the car, a 65-year-old woman, was subsequently flown to hospital by Alpine Air Ambulance as another 37-year-old woman, a five-year old boy and a three-year-old girl were slightly injured and taken to hospital.
 
As a result of the incident, in which the car was written-off, the road leading to the motorway had to be closed with a detour indicated.
