Founded in 1961, the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is a private, non-profit day school for students aged 3 to 18 in Central Switzerland. We are a community of learners determined to make the world – or our corner of it – a better, kinder place. We reflect our values in everything we do so that we make the most of opportunities and challenges in a spirit of enthusiastic inquiry.

ISZL is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the full range of IB Programmes: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme, the Diploma Programme and the Career-Related Programme. We also provide Advanced Placement®, BTEC and ISZL courses, giving students the opportunity to create a personalised programme. We are focused on developing key competencies such as critical thinking, collaboration, cross-cultural intelligence, and new media literacy in our students.

We help every student turn their learning into action, creating the opportunity to stretch themselves further and achieve more than they believe possible. ISZL connects students to the world around them through our dynamic learning environments, our rigorous academic programme, and the international cultures represented by our community.
