Missing woman found dead

The 43-year-old woman who has been missing in Oberwil since January 7 was found dead in a dense forest area near Unterägeri on Friday.

The woman had been missing from Oberwil since Tuesday, 7 January. According to the Zug law enforcement authorities, she was found dead on Friday afternoon. Forest workers came across the lifeless body in a dense forest area in the municipality of Unterägeri.

The exact circumstances that led to the death of the woman are being clarified by the Zug police, the Public Prosecutor of the Canton of Zug and the Institute of Forensic Medicine. There are as yet no indications of a third-party involvement.
