Landi Sins starts new car sharing

The municipality of Sins is now receiving an electric car: from February 29th, a Renault Zoe will be available by the charging cable at the Landi Sins, waiting for the first drivers. The vehicle can be tested free of charge between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Carsharing is the ideal solution for people who do not drive a lot and for second-car users. Registered customers of the E-Drive Carsharing can use the vehicles after making an advance payment. The price structure is different from classic rental cars: the costs are made up of an hourly price and a kilometre price. In Sins, the use of the electric Renault, which has a range of around 300 kilometres per charge, costs Fr. 2.80 per hour and CH 0.62 per kilometre. The travel costs are thereby below the TCS calculation of CHF 0.70 per kilometre for passenger cars, as the Sins municipal council states.

An electric Renault Zoe stands ready at the Landi in Sins for the newly introduced car sharing.

The E-Drive-Carsharing AG company was founded by the Landi Luzern West as a start-up, and has set itself the goal of making mobility more sustainable.
