Fire brigade called to the industrial area

A fire broke out in a spice mill at a production company in the industrial area in Hünenberg. The fire was quickly brought under control, and no-one was injured.

According to the press release of the Zug law enforcement authorities, a fire broke out in a spice mill of a production company at around 2.15 p.m. on Monday afternoon, July 6. The Hünenberg fire brigade was quickly on site with first responders, and was able to extinguish the flames.

About 30 employees were in the building at the time of the fire, but were able to leave the building without additional help. No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still unclear and is being investigated by the Zug Police Forensic Service.

Around 40 members of the Hünenberg fire brigade, the fire inspector as well as employees of the Zug ambulance service and the Zug police were on duty.
