Cycle Fair and Cycle Second Hand Sale to take place this weekend

The 5th Cycle fair is to take place on Stierenmarkt this weekend, when a number of cycle manufacturers will be showing off their latest products, whether they be mountain or e-bikes.

One of the many features of this fair is that potential purchasers have the opportunity of trying out the bikes on this large open site in the city. Young cyclists will be able to try out their skills on two wheels, too, at the Mobile Funpark or on a training bike trail.

Anyone not wishing to spend a lot of money on a new bike will be pleased to know that on Saturday, 24 March the Pro Velo Zug organisation is setting up a sale of second-hand ones.

And if you have an old bike at home which is no longer used, you could bring it along and hand it over to a charity which ships them off to Africa. This can be done between 10.30 am and 3 pm on Saturday.

If you have not been able to find a particular part to have your bike repaired, you may well find it at the biggest bicycle-part flea market in Switzerland, which is to take place on Sunday in Hall 3.

The fair, for which no admission is charged, is open from 9 am until 5 pm on Saturday, 24 March and from 10 am until 5 pm on Sunday, 25 March.
