Crypto Valley Association wins Fintech Influencer of the Year Award

The Swiss Fintech Awards were presented at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich on Thursday evening, with the Zug-based Crypto Valley Association being presented with the Fintech Influencer of the Year award.

In the “Early-Stage” category, the award was presented to the Proxeus company for its development of software which enables lay people to process and programme applications on blockchain, the runner-up in this category being the Viac company.

In the “Growth Stage” category, the award was presented to the Loanbox company, which enables public borrowers to get in touch with banks and other professional providers of capital directly via an online platform. The runners-up in this category were Price Bubble.

As mentioned, the Zug-based Crypto Valley Association was presented with the Fintech Influencer of the Year award. The jurors agreed that it was this not-for-profit organisation, which, through promoting blockchain technology in the area, had ensured the promotion of the term “Crypto Valley” to enjoy global renown.

In all, the Fintech prizes are worth CHF 38,000.
