John will leave us with practical applications in dealing with clients in volatile times.
Ivan Le Jeune
Head of Wealth Structuring Solutions EMEA, Lloyds TSB Private Bank
“Volatile Times and Cross-Border Wealth & Tax Issues”
Ivan holds a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and has more than 16 years experience in the field of international tax and wealth working for two of the big four in auditing before moving into an international banking context. He took over as Head of Wealth Structuring Solutions EMEA for Lloyds TSB Private Bank in 2010. Ivan will be looking at the current trends and issues in cross-border wealth and topical taxation stimulated by volatile times and changes in the markets.
“Clients & Volatile Times”
The current market environment and the recent movements in the markets have been described by volatility and uncertainty. This poses many challenges to asset managers and their clients. To invest and not to invest in what region and onshore or offshore. The whole stability of the market has again been questioned, the fear of a double dip seems to be turning into reality. We know this will impact clients and their behaviours, this is why we have asked John Lalor to speak specifically on what is happening in client’s brains and how we can deal with this. Similarly the structural questions of wealth and tax pose new problems and challenges and Ivan Le Jeune will be approaching this aspect.
