77-year-old woman taken to hospital with serious injuries

An elderly woman sustained serious injuries as she was on a pedestrian crossing in Cham on Wednesday evening.
 
As the 77-year-old crossed Zugerstrasse by the Neudorf centre at around 6.50 pm, she was hit by a car driven by a 56-year-old.
 
Police are still investigating precisely what happened.
