32-year-old woman drowns while bathing at lido

It is sad to have to report that a 32-year-old woman has drowned while bathing in the lake at the lido.
 
It was on Wednesday afternoon that the women took to the waters of Lake Zug. Suddenly, at around 5 pm, she disappeared and failed to resurface.
 
The lake rescue service of the Zug Police, assisted by a specialist unit of the Zug Voluntary Fire Brigade in addition to a diving unit of the Police Service of the Canton of Schwyz were duly summoned but only on the following day was her body recovered from a depth of around four metres.
 
An investigation into the precise circumstances of the tragedy and the possible effect of a thunderstorm which brew up at the time, is ongoing.
